Outings can provide rich learning opportunities, including hands-on and interactive experiences, building on what the children are learning in the nursery (before, during and after the trip). Trips can stimulate curiosity and inspire new interests. Outings can foster children's social skills and self-confidence.
We plan a range of trips every year from the zoo to airport visits. Trips are often as a bus ride to the supermarket, a walk in the park or a visit to the library. Each outing has a focus to engage and enhance children's learning.
Our exciting activities include:
Martial Arts
Pre-school children are offered Martial Arts sessions. This enables the children improve essential skills such as balance, posture, co-ordination and concentration.
Making use of our local Environment
Our children really enjoy our walks out in the community and there is always lots to talk about along the way. We have community links with the library, opticians, barbers and shops provide us with educational discussions on our visits.
