Outings can provide rich learning opportunities, including hands-on and interactive experiences, building on what the children are learning in the nursery (before, during and after the trip). Trips can stimulate curiosity and inspire new interests. Outings can foster children's social skills and self-confidence.
We plan a range of trips every year from the zoo to airport visits. Trips are often as a bus ride to the supermarket, a walk in the park or a visit to the library. Each outing has a focus to engage and enhance children's learning.
Our exciting outings include:
Swimming Lessons
Pre-school children are offered swimming lessons. This enables the children improve essential skills such as balance, posture, co-ordination and concentration.
Forest School
Forest School has developed from the Scandinavian education system and is about children and young people building self esteem and independence through exploring and experiencing the natural world.

Making use of our local Environment
Our children really enjoy our walks out in the community and there is always lots to talk about along the way. We have community links with the library, residential home and shops provide us with educational discussions on our visits.
